Flip cameras are becoming a useful and powerful tool in the classroom. These easy to use video cameras are often simple ‘plug and play’ devices that can be held in one hand, operated with one finger, plugged into the USB drive of your computer of choice and used to produce some terrific video for digital storytelling and vodcasting. Below are five resources for some great ideas and techniques for using them.

I own the flip ultra and I love it, however having to constantly charge the little battery’s gets annoying…
I want to thank the blogger very much not only for this post but also for his all previous efforts. I found theteachershub.com to be very interesting. I will be coming back to theteachershub.com for more information.
Well done mate, very useful post. My school is loving the flip cameras at the moment but I think they’re about to be overtaken by the bigger companies bringing in similar models that take still shots as well as video for around the same price. Also worth mentioning that people shouldn’t pay much over $140 for the SD model any longer, although most websites will try and charge a whole lot more (Dick Smith or Officeworks are a better option). Keep up the good work!
Nice tutor and tips. This is what makes photography such a creative medium! Good work!
